Medical Receptionist Permanent Position

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and organized Medical Receptionist to join our team. As a Medical Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative support and ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office. Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the appointment calendar
- Collect patient information, update records, and verify insurance information
- Assist with patient check-in and check-out procedures
- Handle patient inquiries, provide necessary information, and address concerns or complaints
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow
- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Adhere to all privacy regulations and maintain patient confidentiality

Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar administrative role
- Proficient in medical terminology and understanding of medical office procedures
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as eClinicalWorks or Eaglesoft
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
- High level of professionalism and integrity

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 26 per week
