Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients as they arrive at the MedSpa
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
- Verify patient insurance information and collect co-pays or payments
- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Ensure the waiting area is clean and organized
Skills:
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in using technology, including POS systems and cash registers
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
**Not Mandatory but Encouraged** - Comfortable with webinar and software tools commonly used in media production and editing.
**The role entails traveling between our two office locations, Mandeville and Lakeview, as part of the job responsibilities. This may involve commuting between the offices to collaborate with team members, attend meetings, or perform tasks required to support various media projects. Candidates should be comfortable with regular travel between these two distinct locations and possess the flexibility to adapt their schedule accordingly.**
**Expected hours: 22-32 per week**
Please note that experience in wireless sales, jewelry sales, retail sales, or technology sales is not relevant to the role of a medical receptionist.
