SalaryDue to the growth of our pratice The Orthopedic Center is hiring for an Appointment Scheduling and Medical Receptionist.
This position will be trained in both Appointment Scheduling and Medical Receptionist.
This position is responsible for greeting all incoming patients with a pleasant and professional demeanor to welcome them to the Practice and explain and collect all necessary paperwork prior to being seen by a provider. Paperwork includes such item as updating and/or gathering insurance information, history sheets and collecting patient monetary responsibilities.
This position is responsible for taking incoming calls from patients in a pleasant and professional manner and schedule them for an appointment in a timely manner. This position is also responsible for obtaining authorizations from insurance carriers for auto accidents and workers compensation claims.
