We are seeking a skilled and organized Medical Receptionist to join our team. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional administrative support and customer service to patients and healthcare professionals. Your attention to detail and ability to multitask will contribute to the smooth operation of our medical office.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
- Verify patient information, update medical records, and maintain confidentiality
- Assist with medical administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Coordinate patient referrals and ensure accurate documentation
- Handle insurance verification and process billing information
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure efficient patient flow
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in healthcare administration is a plus
- Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role
- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures
- Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or eClinicalWorks
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients, staff, and healthcare professionals
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of medical scheduling systems and patient service protocols
Note: All positions must be paid including internship positions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
