SalaryWe are seeking a Medical Receptionist /Admin to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and patient registrations to keep the medical facility running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner
- Communicate with insurance companies for insurance verifications
- Scheduling patient appointments
- Check in / check-out patients
- Collect patients payments, copays and co-insurance
Qualifications: * Previous experience in medical office or other related fields
- Familiarity with insurance authorizations
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
- Medical terminology: 1 year (Preferred)
- Computer skills: 1 year (Preferred)
