Job description
Duties:
- Provide medical administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office
- Greet and check in patients, verify their information, and provide the necessary paperwork
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments using scheduling software
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct calls to appropriate staff members
- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
- Manage daily financial balance and process payments accurately
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including faxes and emails
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Positive and welcoming attitude
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Proficiency in using medical office software
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service skills and ability to interact with patients in a professional manner
- Familiarity with medical billing and insurance processes

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
