Job Summary:
The Medical Surgical/Tele RN is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients on the Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit.
This role involves monitoring patients, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
The RN must be proficient in telemetry and capable of managing a diverse patient population.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care on the Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Monitor and interpret telemetry data.
Administer medications, IV fluids, and other treatments as prescribed.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and post-discharge care.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
Float to different units as needed, prioritizing travelers.
Adhere to all facility policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.
