SalaryA flourishing mental health private practice in East Providence is seeking a motivated office staff member to join our dynamic team of professionals. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the development and support of an efficient, professional and caring team committed to providing excellent care, compassion and support to our clientele and internal team.
As the ideal candidate, your responsibilities will include:
-Checking patients in and out of their appointments
- Collection and recording of co-pays
-Scheduling new patient intake appointments as well as scheduling and confirming future appointments
- Answering and transferring calls on a multi-line phone system
- Basic front desk management including faxing, scanning, copying, filing
- Using Electronic Medical Records and Practice Management software
-Interface with pharmacy contacts to call in medication refills
-Management of provider schedules
-Maintaining a professional and inviting office environment
-Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency throughout our organization
Required skills and experience include:
-Prior healthcare administrative experience preferred
- Flexibility and motivation with a desire to provide excellent support to external clients and internal team members
-Attention to detail and ability to carry out duties in compliance with industry regulations and standards
-Ability to work 15-20 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
This is an in-office position with very limited face-to-face patient interaction. Most patients are currently being seen virtually.
All current staff is vaccinated against COVID-19.
