Salary: Starting at $19 per hour
Job Summary:
Performs clerical duties under the direction of Office Manager and Nurse Manager. This position requires a kind and compassionate experienced medical professional who is a self-starter and can multitask, think critically, and performs effective time management skills. Teamwork is integral as every employee is a vital part of our daily operations and their ability to provide quality care to our community.
Job duties include:
- Greet patient in a warm welcoming manner
- Obtain patient information and medical insurance
- EMR system/ eClinicalWorks
- Verify medical insurance
- Collect copay/coinsurances
- Input patient information/schedule patient
- Answer all incoming calls
- Take patient payments over the phone
- Maintain equipment per protocols
- Liaison to doctor's offices, billing company, workers' compensation companies, etc
- Confident team player
- Assist patients to complete all necessary forms and documentation.
- Maintain and manage patient records.
- Assist medical staff as needed.
