Job Title: Leasing Agent
Status: Part-time to Full-time, 15-40 hours per week
Reports to: Designated Broker, Nick McLean Real Estate Group/M Property Management

As a Leasing Agent, you will play a vital role in attracting and securing new tenants for our rental properties. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, conducting property tours, processing applications, and ensuring a smooth leasing process. Duties/Responsibilities:
- Tenant Prospecting and Follow Up: Promptly and professionally answers and returns phone calls, voicemail, emails and texts. Maintain relationships and advance prospective tenants through the leasing process until they have found a home within our portfolio
- Tenant Placement: conduct property tours, showcase available units to prospective tenants, review of tenant applications, checking references/background/previous rental history, creating and executing lease agreements
- Strategic marketing of rental properties: coordinate professional photos, design online listing, input listing into company websites, Zillow, Craigslist, etc. Install and remove marketing signs and lockboxes
- Ensure available rental units are clean, fresh and ready for showings
- Coordinate move-in/move-out dates and materials, perform property inspections, schedule cleaning and maintenance
- Assist in rent collection and tracking
- Timely resolve of maintenance requests, tenant complaints, placing work orders with appropriate contractors
- Enforce current rental laws, regulations and lease agreements, post appropriate notices
- Administrative and clerical services, record-keeping and filing, logging all activity into company databases
- Provide current and prospective residents with the best possible customer service to retain residents and lease properties
- Display a high level of integrity and professionalism at all times in dealing with residents, prospects, property owners, employees, and third party vendors
- Assist in retaining and acquiring property owners. Timely communication of rental/maintenance schedules and associated costs, property status, delinquencies and tenant complaints, lease agreements, etc.
- Other duties as assigned

- Proficient with Google Suite Applications, such as Gmail, Docs, Calendar, etc preferred
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Washington State Driver’s License
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times
- Must be able to stand and walk up to 30 minutes at a time
