Medical Receptionist

Job duties include:

• Patient Scheduling: Accurately schedules all appointments performed within the group practice
• Patient Registration: Accurately registers patients calling/walking in to schedule appointments within the practice. Must be able to perform essential functions of registration.
• Customer Service/ Reception: Greets all incoming patients with a smile. Demonstrates excellent customer services skills in all interactions with physicians, patients and office personnel.
• Charge Posting/ Cash Collection: Accurately posts all charges and diagnosis codes as as assigned by physician. Accurately collects patient co-pays and co-insurances.
• Insurance Verification: Our ideal candidate has experience in working with a variety of insurance payers. Can accurately pull patient benefits and discuss cost breakdown. Additional knowledge of the verification process and ICD-10/ CPT Coding a plus!
• Communications: Answers all incoming calls with a smile. Answers questions, takes appropriate messages, responds in a timely manner to all email/fax inquiries.

Alpine Urgent Care & Sports Medicine is seeking a PART time Medical Receptionist to join our busy, fast-paced walk-in clinic. Alpine Urgent Care and Sports Medicine offers an array of options for patient care, ranging from addressing primary care needs to specialty services with fellowship trained sports physicians. This is a PART time, 20 hours per week position working 10-hour shifts Saturday- Sunday to provide a balance of work and personal life. This position will require weekend availability. As a Medical Receptionist , you will perform patient scheduling, registration tasks including collecting co-pays and deductibles at the time of service, and handling incoming calls. Medical terminology, experience with ICD-10/ HCPCS CPT coding is a plus!

Minimum of 1-year office experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right person.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
