Busy specialty medical practice seeking a friendly, professional and dependable receptionist to hire for a full time position. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: greeting patients, answering multiple phone lines, maintaining the reception area, patient check in and check out, responding to e-mail inquiries, and assisting others in the office with projects and tasks whenever needed.
Ideal candidate will have outstanding customer service, work ethic, communication and computer skills. Must be organized, multi-task oriented, energetic and possess a positive, professional attitude. Candidates should also be willing to cross-train for other positions in the office at any time.

Duties:
- Greet and check-in patients as they arrive at the medical office
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments for patients
- Verify patient insurance information and collect necessary co-pays or fees
- Maintain patient records and update any changes in personal information
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Communicate with healthcare providers and staff to ensure smooth patient flow
- Provide excellent customer service and address patient inquiries or concerns
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in using phone systems and handling multiple calls simultaneously
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining patient records
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism
This position requires a high level of professionalism, as you will be the first point of contact for patients visiting the medical office. Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask are essential for success in this role. Previous experience working in a medical setting or as a receptionist is preferred.
