Medical receptionist provides administrative support to the Clinic by utilizing electronic medical record systems to complete administrative tasks. They are the face of the clinic as they are the initial patient contact.
· Greeting patients professionally both in person and on the phone
· Quickly answering phones to resolve patient issues or forwarding referring questions and issues to the correct personnel
· Checking in patients and ensuring patient registration and intake forms are filled out.
· Scanning pertinent patient information into EMR system
· Taking messages for the providers and other office personnel when needed
· Collecting payments
· Scheduling follow up appointments for patients
· Be able to multi-task.
· Work collaboratively with all team members in achieving shared goals with a consistent focus on quality care.
· Other office tasks as needed.
