Eye Associates of Central Minnesota based in St. Cloud, Minnesota, a busy referral ophthalmology and ophthalmic surgery practice, is seeking a full-time Medical Receptionist. At Eye Associates, we pride ourselves in providing superior experience for our patients and a pleasant work environment. We are kind and pleasant to work alongside and always happy to teach and help. We work closely with area physicians, health care providers, and optometrists to provide the best possible medical and surgical eye care for our patients and patients who are referred for consultations. We have all the finest ophthalmic equipment and provide a very comfortable office and environment for you. We have an easy to use medical record system that makes patient care a pleasure. We are open during regular business hours, no weekends. We will consider applicants who require on-the-job training to perform some of the skills needed.
Responsibilities of a Medical Receptionist include:
- Greet patients
- Receive insurance information
- Answering a multi-line phone system.
- Patient scheduling
- Cross-train and help out with other tasks throughout the clinic.

· Pleasant and engaging with patients.
· Works well with others, with good rapport. No drama.
· Ability to work independently, and yet with the rest of a team.
· Efficiently uses time to create a smooth and pleasant patient flow, both for the doctors and the patient.
· Ability to work with computers.
· Enjoys an interesting, fast-paced environment.
· Cheerfully performs tasks as assigned by your supervisors.
· Communicates with patients what is happening at all stages.
· Have a general understanding of eye anatomy, refractive errors, diseases.
· Preserves patient confidentiality and understands HIPAA.
Minimum necessary qualifications are:
· High school diploma.
· At least two references.
· Passing a background check.
· Good work history.
· Physically able to assist patients, push wheelchair, etc.
· Good vision.
· Reliable transportation, and punctuality.
