```Duties```
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Verify patient information and update records in the electronic medical records system (eClinicalWorks, Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Epic, etc.)
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the office calendar
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or direct calls to the appropriate staff member
- Collect and process patient payments, including insurance co-pays and deductibles
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Assist with insurance verification and claims processing
- Manage patient charts, ensuring accuracy and organization
- Coordinate referrals to specialists as needed
- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
```Experience```
- Previous experience working in a medical or dental office setting preferred
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems (eClinicalWorks, Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Epic, etc.)
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality protocols
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
