```Job Summary```
We are seeking a skilled and organized Medical Receptionist to join our team.
We are a Pulmonary Clinic that also treats patients for weightloss.
The Medical Receptionist will be responsible for providing exceptional patient service, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk. s. Bilingual is a plus.
*Must have 3 years Medical Office experience and 2-3 years EMR experience.
You will be on a probationary period of 90 days.
Must be punctual and have excellence attendance.
You will collect copays and for services, upfront. Looking for a friendly face and team player who is eager to learn and understands the basic functions of a medical office.
```Responsibilities```
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
- Verify patient information, insurance coverage, and collect necessary payments
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of all documentation
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure efficient flow of patients
- Provide administrative support such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality
- Assist with medical scheduling and coordination of referrals, assist with coordination of sleep studies,, dispensing of testing devices and faxing of signed orders
-Ordering office supplies
-Checking voicemail and email daily, scheduling lunches
-Billing of office visits and testing ( Will be trained)
- Handle any emergencies or urgent situations with composure and efficiency
```Experience```
The ideal candidate for this position will have:
- Previous experience working as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role
- Knowledge of medical administrative procedures and terminology
- Familiarity with dental office operations is a plus
- Proficiency in using phone systems and other office equipment
- Strong computer skills, including experience with electronic medical records systems
-Coordination of sleep study patients to get authorizations and coordination of giving devices to patients uploading studies and faxing of orders and helping callers with their questions for weightloss patients whilst multi-tasking.

Salary postion: 86.67 hours paid twice a month on the 1st and 15th.
