This is a hybrid position, where the incumbent will have the opportunity to work from home most of the time; and will be occasionally asked work in either our Portland office or at a client site.

What You Will be Doing:
As a Senior ICT Designer, you will assume a leadership role in various projects within our discipline. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of tasks, including but not limited to coordinating, specifying, drafting, and designing the following ICT systems:
- Structured Cabling Systems (SCS)
- Electronic Security Systems (ESS)
- Audio Visual Systems (AVS)
- Cellular Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS)
- Emergency Responder Communication Enhancement Systems (ERCES)
- Intercom and Two-Way Communication systems
- Master Clocks (wired and wireless)
- Nurse Call Systems
- Paging Systems
- Wi-Fi Systems
In this role, you will be instrumental in driving the success of these projects and ensuring the seamless integration of these systems.
Qualifications for Application:
We are seeking a highly qualified Senior ICT Designer with a minimum of 5 years of experience. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver and collaborative team player, possessing a strong background in the design of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Systems. Key areas of expertise should include, but are not limited to:
- AA/AS Degree or higher in a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Telecommunications pathways and spaces
- Layouts for Telecommunications Rooms
- Cabling for both Inside and Outside plant
- Assessment and design of Audiovisual systems, including controls and signal flow diagrams
- Evaluation and design of Physical Security systems, encompassing both existing and new installations
- Proficiency in various design phases (SD, DD, CD, CA, Closeout)
The successful candidate will demonstrate a proven track record of delivering high-quality ICT designs and solutions.
Candidate Should be Experienced In:
We are seeking a candidate with a robust skill set and extensive experience in the following areas:
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD drafting
- Expertise in responding to RFIs (Request for Information)
- Ability to update drawings in alignment with architectural directives
- Skill in editing Division 27 & 28 specifications to align with project design requirements
- Experience in reviewing client-provided programming for integration into design
- Proficient in conducting interviews with owner/client department personnel to outline design requirements
- Capability to document meeting agendas and minutes
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in performing site visits for as-built condition documentation, due diligence reports, and site observation reports across various project phases
- Demonstrated professional time management, including the ability to manage multiple ICT projects concurrently and meet deadlines and milestones with minimal oversight
- Strong interpersonal skills, encompassing critical thinking, problem-solving, and thorough analysis
- Actively involved in mentoring team members
- Effective coordination with other disciplines, including Architectural, Civil, MEP, and Structural
- Willingness and ability to travel occasionally for assigned projects

- ASIS International Electronic Security Systems Standards
- BICSI TDMM
- BICSI OSPDRM
- TIA Standards
- UL Standards
- NEC Codes applicable to both, ICT systems and Life Safety
To Excel in this Role, Preferred Qualifications Include:
- RCDD, OSP, DCDC, and RTPM certifications
- CTS-D and CTS-I certifications
- PSP certification
- Autodesk CAD Certification
- Autodesk Revit Certification
- Proficiency in Ekahau
- Expertise in AutoCAD and Revit
- Familiarity with Bluebeam
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of Microsoft Teams and other electronic collaboration platforms
- Experience with Newforma
- Familiarity with SharePoint
