Acute Spine & Joint is a Medical Office with two locations: Gainesville and Atlanta, GA. Our offices are beautiful and patient friendly. We see patients who have acute orthopedic injuries. Our providers are kind and treat our team like family. We appreciate our patients and go the extra mile to make sure they have the best experience possible.
Responsibilities:
- Initally cover the front office in our Atlanta and Gainesville, GA locations until our Gainesville front desk receptionist returns from leave. This position will have full side-by-side training from our experiened receptionist.
- Properly greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Monitor wait times of each patient
- Communicate with patients as they wait
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual
- Schedule appointments in person and over the phone while managing the appointment calendar.
- Collect and enter patient data while checking the accuracy of existing patient information and update medical records
- Prepare appropriate paperwork for patient appointments
- Provide administrative support to medical staff, such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
-Demonstrate professionalism in appearance, language, and demeanor
- Assist with insurance verification and billing processes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
- Monitor office supply levels
- Complete office opening and closing procedures
- Business attire required
Skills:
-BILINGUAL CANDIDATES PREFERRED
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Proficiency in using phone systems and handling multiple phone lines
- Knowledge of medical records management and HIPAA regulations
- Strong administrative skills, including data entry and record keeping
- Previous experience in a customer service position is preferred.
- Ability to handle stressful situations with calmness and professionalism
