Responsibilities:
•Checking patients in and out, scheduling appointments, answering patient inquiries and maintaining medical records.
•Provide seamless customer service
•Ensure patient information is accurate including demographic info, billing/insurance information
•Fill out and send Medical Forms
•Forward messages to providers
•Call in, fax and/or print prescriptions
•Process fax transmissions and emails through eCW appropriately
•Maintain an organized, efficient and professional work environment
•Adhere to all practice policies and remain HIPAA Compliant
•Work on special projects or task designated by department manager
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalency Work Experience
- 1 Years of Customer Service Experience (Additional training provided)
- Knowledge of EMR systems (eCW preferred)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks based on importance
