We currently have an opening for a Patient Services Coordinator & Receptionist to join our highly motivated and results driven team.
The Patient Services Coordinator & Receptionist initiates the patient experience at our Fertility Clinic. This is the first person our new patients speak to on the phone and who meets & greets them in the office. This person is critical to patient outreach and building relationships with patients. They will also schedule appointments, respond to questions & requests from patients and staff, and move our patients through a predetermined schedule of appointments. The daily patient flow through the office is overseen by the Patient Services Coordinator & Receptionist. In addition, this position supports our Patient Financial Services team.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to quickly establish credibility, confidence, and trust with our patients, especially over the phone. The ideal candidate will be empathic, enthusiastic, a self-starter, a problem-solver, and a strong team player with a positive attitude toward the job and the clinic’s mission and values for excellence in patient care. They must be dedicated to world class customer service.
Education and Experience
§ High School Diploma required. Associate Degree or Healthcare Technical School Diploma preferred;
§ Minimum 2 years’ experience in medical office Patient Services/front desk reception; women’s healthcare a big plus. Some medical assistant experience preferred.
§ Hands-on experience with patient scheduling, insurance verification, collecting payments required;
§ Excellent computer skills, both EMR and Microsoft office required. Keyboard skills of 25 wpm are required;
§ Excellent interpersonal skills. Must relate well with patients, peers, physicians, and management. Must be genuinely concerned for people, respectful, and be able to use diplomacy and tact in challenging situations
§ Ability to work in a high-standard and busy environment;
§ Must be able to work rotating weekends and some holidays.
§ Ability to speak Spanish fluently
