SalaryMedical Office receptionist/Operator Job Responsibilities:
- Serves patients by greeting and checking in patients. Check-out and scheduling appointments, maintaining records and accounts.
- Provide Operator assistance to incoming callers by answering questions, directing calls to appropriate personnel, transferring and scheduling of office appointments for three locations.
- Provide superior understanding and customer service by providing prompt accurate and courteous service.
- Ensures availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records.
- Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information.
- Protects patients’ rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information.
- Maintains operations by following policies and procedures, reporting needed changes.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
