Job Summary:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday 9 am-1 pm.
Training will be in the office --, and then the candidate can work from home.
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Office Customer Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a Medical Office, with knowledge of medical terminology and administrative support. As a Medical Office Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing excellent patient service, scheduling appointments, and assisting with various administrative tasks.
Duties:
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or direct calls to the appropriate staff member
- Schedule patient appointments using eClinicalWorks (an Electronic Medical Record)
- Verify patient insurance information and collect necessary documentation
- Provide administrative support to medical staff as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience working in a Medical Office
- Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus
- Proficiency in using electronic scheduling systems: eClinicalWorks
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent Customer Service skills with the ability to handle patient inquiries and concerns in a professional manner
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
