Position Summary:
To assist and support clinical staff in the provision of patient care. This position will provide patient care in both a clerical and a clinical role.

CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS
Basic Life Support (BLS) (AHA) within 30 days.

Essential Functions:
- * PERFORM MOA DUTIES AS REQUIRED * Rooms patients as needed in nurse absence * Assists patients in completion of paperwork * Schedules diagnostic tests as needed * Attends computer classes as needed or scheduled. * Maintains adequate knowledge of medical terminology.
- Answer telephone calls, transfer callers as needed, check voice mail daily,
- Maintains confidentiality of workplace & patient information
- Works with integrity upholds organizational goals and values.
- Schedules medical patients by optimizing patient satisfaction, provider time, and examination room utilization.
- Assists the nurse and providers to assure quality healthcare and a smooth, orderly flow of patients through the office.Prepares the patients for provider by taking appropriate vital signs and screening general medical health.Obtains lab specimens from patients, as needed.Supports providers and nurses in their day to day duties by sharing necessary information to assure the delivery of quality healthcare to patients.Possesses flexibility in the work environment in order to promote a smooth, orderly flow of patients through the office in a timely and efficient manner.Transports patients to vehiclesOrders linens, nutrients, and supplies.Checks for expired supplies and dispose of them properly
- Orders and maintains supplies, and arranges for equipment maintenance
