Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Medical Office Administrator who is goal-oriented, detailed, and proactive to ensure the Medical Office thrives.
POSITION SUMMARY
- The Manager is responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of the clinic and the fulfillment of commercial goals in line with Medical Office strategies.
- Comply with the Medical Office forecast and budget.
- Guarantee patients services that meet the standards of excellence they deserve.
- Retain patients by ensuring they are quoted treatments according to their medical needs and financial possibilities.
- Ensure leadership of the Medical Office promoting a collegial environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee payroll, hiring, credentialing, training, motivational, counseling and disciplinary actions in collaboration with the Medical Director.
- Liaison between administrative and other required departments, and make independent decisions to ensure adherence to Medical Office policies and procedures.
- Coordinate and collaborate with administrative and medical staff, anticipate issues and proactively work to ensure an effective, value-generating operation and experience for the patient.
- Embody strategic direction and clearly communicate the mission, vision and goals of these two departments, so they can work together to provide the best patient experience and meet the goals of Ingenes, in line with corporate goals and objectives.
- Implement the annual budget and sales plan, manage expenditures within the approved plan, and prepare resource requests with the appropriate justifications.
- Manage satisfaction indicators and come up with improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations
- Develop and implement Quality Assurance and Quality Control infrastructure, and the Patient Safety strategy.
- Maintain an effective workforce so as to meet the department’s quality and service expectations. Participate in the development of positions, job descriptions and performance standards.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of departmental policy, procedure and protocol manuals. Assure departmental compliance with regulatory and accreditation agencies.
- Maintenance and repair of the clinic environment and equipment.
- Purchase and procurement of medical supplies and equipment.
- Foster an efficient, safe and harmonious work environment that reflects the Ingenes culture.
- Design and implement a strategic sales plan with a view to meeting global sales goals.
- Manage relationships with health insurers and ensure timely collections.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Administration or a related field preferred
- Minimum two years’ work experience as a similar position
