University Hospitals Ahuja Medical Center is a 144-bed community hospital focused on patient and family-centered care and the principles of evidence-based design.
The individual in this role performs high and moderate complexity testing with high degree of skill and proficiency.
This position is a generalist role working in a community hospital, testing for chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, coagulation, blood gas and blood bank.
Follows all hospital policies and procedures consistently. Requirement in CLIA88 to perform complexity testing.
Education: Associates/Bachelor's Degree in biological, chemical science. Must meet course attendance to meet CLIA guidelines.
- MLT/MT program graduate preferred
Certification: ASCP required after 1 year of hire
- Previous Laboratory experience preferred.
