Position Summary
Performs high and moderate complexity testing at a basic level.

- Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor/Associate degree in biological, chemical science, clinical laboratory science. Must meet course attendance to meet CLIA guidelines to perform high complexity testing
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Thorough knowledge of testing procedures and quality standards. Required
- Basic computer skills. Required
Licenses and Certifications
- Medical Lab Technician (MLT-ASCP) Required or
- Medical Technologist (MT-ASCP) or equivalent certification Required
- Required within 1 year of hire date
Additional Licenses and Certifications
- Specific CLIA '88 to perform complexity testing. Required
