Position Summary
Performs pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical processes for moderate and high complexity testing

Qualifications
Education
Bachelor/Associate degree in biological, chemical science, clinical laboratory science. Must meet course attendance to meet CLIA guidelines to perform high complexity testing
- Graduate of MLT/MT program preferred
Work Experience
- 1 years exp as a Level I Required
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Thorough knowledge of testing procedures and quality standards. Required
- Basic computer skills. Required
Licenses and Certifications
- Medical Lab Technician (MLT-ASCP) Required
- Medical Technology (MT-ASCP) Required
- required within 1 year of hire
Additional Licenses and Certifications
- Specific CLIA '88 to perform complexity testing. Required and
- ASCP or equivalent certification Required
