Medical Lab Technician/ Medical Technologist Days Tripoint/Concord

Medical Technologist/Medical Lab Technician 

 Bonus:  $6000; $3000 paid after 90 days and $3000 paid after 1 year   

This lab is a generalist community hospital lab in which the hired individual would work all benches as needed.

Duties:

        Performs high and moderate complexity testing.

        Testing for chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, coagulation and  blood bank is the majority of this work

Tripoint Medical Center is a newer, state-of-the-art, 112-bedfull-service community hospital serving the health care needs of Painesville and surrounding communities.

 Tripoint Medical Center is home to a fully accredited laboratory, which uses leading-edge equipment and technologies to perform over 500,000 tests per  year. The laboratory is accredited by the College of American Pathologists and the American Association of Blood Banks.

Education: 

        Bachelor/Associate degree in biological, chemical science, clinical laboratory science. Must meet course attendance to meet CLIA guidelines to perform high complexity testing

        Graduate from a certified MT/MLT program. Preferred

Certification: 

        MT/MLT  - ASCP certification, required after one year from date of hire
