Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and organized Internal Medicine Practice Office Coordinator to join our team. As the first point of contact for our office, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, computer literacy, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual
- Coordinate specialty appointments and referrals
-Interact with patients and their medical representatives
- Assist with lab and radiology order entries and data entry tasks
- File documents as needed in the electronic health record
- Perform general clerical duties, such as photocopying, faxing, and mailing
-Liaison with physicians and nurse practitioners with their daily workflow
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Proficiency in using Microsoft 365 and other computer applications
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks
