Medical Front Desk Receptionist

Texas Liver Consultants is opening a new location and looking for experienced Front Desk personnel.

Duties:

- Greet and check-in patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
- Verify patient insurance information and collect co-pays
- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
- Ensure the waiting area is clean and organized
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families

Requirements:

- Previous experience working as a medical receptionist or in a similar role is required
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using phone systems and other office equipment

This position requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality. The ideal candidate will be able to work well under pressure, maintain professionalism, and contribute to a positive work environment.
