We are seeking the ideal candidate for our Front Desk position to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.
This is a forward patient-facing position, we use Athena EHR/EMR and are looking to add someone with experience and charm to our team.
Qualifications
- Experience with Athena EHR is a huge plus; We are looking for someone with experience with this system.
- Ideal candidates have front desk experience
- Have the ability to work multiple tasks efficiently and accurately
- Excellent telephone skills and ability to communicate positively and calmly in stressful situations
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows is a plus
- Providing clerical and administrative support
- Providing information and support to staff and clients
- Responding to internal and external requests
- Answering phones, data entry, filing, email, Internet, EHR.
- Previous experience in healthcare administration or other related fields
- Familiarity with medical billing procedures
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities:
- Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner Ex. Check messages and wait list
- Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
- Communicate with insurance companies for proper billing procedures
- Check Eligibility and Phone list
Note: Experience in home care administration is also valued.
