Medical Front Desk

We are seeking a Medical Administrative Assistant to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

• Greet patients upon arrival
• Register new patients, update demographics for existing patients
• Perform routine administrative tasks to support medical staff
• Provide excellent customer service in person and over the phone

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in medical office or healthcare administration. Family Practice experience preferred, but relevant job history will be considered.

• Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures

• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Required Skills/Experience:

• Able to use computer systems for medical records, ordering, timekeeping, payroll and HR activities
• Polished customer service skills and a real ability to understand our patients’ needs
• The ability to handle and seek to resolve patient complaints if they arise, with tact and positive outcomes
• Must be reliable and punctual in attendance to keep office hours and coverage in the practice.
• Must be flexible for scheduling.
