Duties:
- Review and analyze medical records to ensure accurate coding and billing
- Assign appropriate diagnosis-related group (DRG) codes
- Utilize ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to assign accurate codes to medical procedures and diagnoses
- Ensure compliance with all relevant coding guidelines and regulations
- Communicate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation and resolve coding discrepancies
- Submit claims to insurance companies and follow up on any denials or rejections
- Process payments from insurance companies and patients
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations

Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Billing or coding
- Proficient in DRG, ICD-9, and ICD-10 coding systems
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Familiarity with insurance billing procedures and guidelines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in coding and billing processes
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
