We are looking for a Sleep/ Medical Billing Coordinator to join our team and provide quality patient care.
This position requires a candidate with a solid understanding of Dental Sleep apnea medical billing ,procedures, and terminology. The coordinator will be responsible for managing administrative tasks while also assisting in Dental Sleep apnea related activities. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure are essential for success in this role. Job Responsibilities:
- Verify and acquire patient insurance benefits for pre-verification
- Verify insurance with carriers and enter data into custom online software
- Sending claims, verifying records attached to the claims, follow up on claim status.
- Ensure claims are created and billed.
- Sends statements once per month, as needed working with Office Manager on outstanding accounts.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence
- Manage calendars and schedules
- Monitor and respond to emails, phone calls, and inquiries
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and communication
Skills and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in a Sleep Medical Billing for Dental practice is required.
- Experience with Medical Billing preferred
- Experience with Insurance Verification preferred
- Proficient in vital signs monitoring and diagnostic evaluation
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Pay: $21.00 - $30.00 per hour
