Your role in the success of our company will be to have the work experience in the following areas:
- Proficient in Medical Billing - Specific to: Durable Medical Equipment, Orthotics & Prosthetics, and Compression garments.
- Review claims and request information needed prior to billing
- Medical Billing software knowledge and ability to learn OPIE O&P billing software
- Medical Billing Accounts Receivable
- Medical payment posting
- Appeals and denials
- Create spreadsheets to track and escalate insurance denial patterns
- Support Clinical and Administrative team as necessary
- Takes patient payments and phone calls as necessary
- Request patient refunds as necessary
- Special projects as needed

MDOP, a subsidiary of D&J Medical, is an independent, accredited full-service patient care facility and fabricator of custom designed and custom fit Prosthetic and Orthotic devices.
D&J Medical and MDOP are accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Health Care and the American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics, and Pedorthics. D&J Medical is a Medicare-Certified provider.
