Medical Billing / Revenue Cycle Specialist

Do you have experience using Allscripts PM, Athena, eClinicalWorks or Tebra (Kareo) software? If so, we have immediate openings for Medical Billers / Revenue Cycle Specialists with a minimum of 3-4 years of currentMedical Billing experience - either with a Medical Billing company or a physician office.

Candidate must possess prior knowledge of effective billing and an understanding of modifiers, CPT codes and ICD-10 codes is required. Must be professional, organized, detail oriented with great communication. Ability to multitask and strong telephone skills, while maintaining professionalism is a must. We prefer someone with a cheerful disposition, team player, and must have reliable transportation. Hours between 8am to 5:00pm Monday-Friday. Bilingual (Spanish) a plus!

Duties Include

• Follow up for rejected, denied and unpaid claims using online payer portals.
• Resubmit, corrective claims actions and preparation of appeals as need to resolve claims.
• Answering patient billing questions, collecting delinquent accounts and establishing payment arrangements
• Manage Patient AR including corresponding with patients to resolve account inquiries and establish payment plans.
• Communicate efficiently with team members to resolve front end claims issues.
• Strive to ensure clean claims submissions/payments with a single pass insurance submission.

Requirements

• 3-4 years of experience in Medical Billing with a billing company or medical office.
• Can work in a paperless environment and understand how to produce electronic documents for the purpose of claim submission, denial appeals and payment posting.
• Able to manage multiple projects and be solutions oriented in a fast paced environment, multitask and thrive under pressure and deadlines in a team environment.

Salary / Benefits / Schedule

This is an onsite position, Monday through Friday. Our office is open from 8am to 6pm with flexible start times.

Competitive Salary: Starting at $18 - $24 per hour and is commensurate with experience.
