SalaryNava Health is a leading integrative medical practice that offers personalized, data-driven, and holistic health care solutions. We are looking for a Medical Billing Specialist to join our growing team and ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our billing processes.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit billing data and medical claims to insurance companies and patients
- Verify the validity and completeness of insurance information and authorizations
- Resolve any billing issues or discrepancies with insurance companies and patients
- Follow up on unpaid claims and delinquent accounts
- Maintain and update billing records and databases
- Generate reports and statements on billing activities and performance
Required
- 2 year minimum proven experience as a Billing Specialist
- Knowledge of billing software, electronic medical records, and medical coding
- Familiarity with insurance policies and procedures
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High School Diploma (or GED or HS Equivalence Certification)
Preferred
- Experience in integrative medical setting
- CPC/ CPB Certification
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
