Back office Medical Assistant responsibilities:

• Preparing patients: Assisting with patient intake, including checking vital signs, verifying medical history, and ensuring patient comfort before surgery.
• Surgical equipment and supplies: Sterilizing and preparing surgical instruments, ensuring all necessary supplies and equipment are available, and maintaining inventory.
• Assisting during surgeries: Providing support to surgeons and surgical staff during procedures, passing instruments, maintaining a sterile field, and anticipating any needs.
• Post-operative care: Assisting with wound care, changing dressings, and providing post-operative instructions to patients.
• Documentation: Recording patient information and surgical procedures
• Collaborating with the healthcare team: Working closely with surgeons, nurses, and other medical professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
• Compliance with safety and infection control protocols: Adhering to established safety and infection control practices to maintain a clean and safe surgical environment. It is important to note that specific job duties may vary depending on the healthcare setting and the regulations of the region or country.

Requirements:

• Medical Assistant Certification (Preferred): While having a Medical Assistant Certification is preferred, we are also open to considering candidates with relevant experience in a medical or clinical setting. Training will be provided to ensure familiarity with hair restoration techniques and procedures.
