Medical Assistant III’s Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping the rooms neat and clean.
- Obtain and record patient vitals into the EMR system.
- Ask a series of predetermined questions from the patient to ensure accurate medical care is given.
- Review the patient’s medical history and risk factors.
Medical Assistant III’s Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED and a Medical Assistant Certification is required.
- 1 – 2 years of Medical Assistant experience is required.
- ALCS and BLS certifications are required.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent customer service, written and verbal communication, and time management skills are required.
