Medical Assistant

Seeking a  Medical Assistant  who is Certified or Registered to join our Small and Friendly Family and Pediatric Practice in DownTown Clermont , Florida.

We are looking for a candidate that can Multitask !!!.

Bilingual a plus!

Job Type: Full time

We are opened Monday- Thursday

No weekends! No Major Holidays!!

Applicant must be able to perform the following essential duties:

*Front Office Duties

* Friendly

*Welcome Patients and Check in Patients

*Schedule appointments

*Answer Multi Line Phone and Triage calls

*Triage Patients

*Verify Insurance and Eligibility

*Collect Copayments and Deductibles

*Perform Prior Authorizations / Referrals

* Analyzing and working on Electronic Fax

Occasional Back Office Essential Duties:

*Vital Signs

*Injections/Vaccines

*EKG

* Clia waived testing: Strep, FLU, RSV, Mono, Hemoglobin , Glucose Testing

* Assist in setting up for Well Woman exams

* Set up and assist Provider with minor procedures

***Applicant must provide 2-3 Professional References

***Minimum Experience 1-2 years

Pay: From $15.00 -$ 20 per hour
