The role you'll contribute: The Clinical Supervisor, under limited supervision, is responsible for providing hands-on clinical care to patients as well as training, directing, and guiding back office staff in monitoring and expediting workflow. This position helps in ensuring the back-office operations of the office function smoothly and that staff are adhering to clinical policies and procedures. Performs a wide variety of patient care activities and accommodates services for the physicians and the practice, following established standard, practices, policies, and procedures.

- Serves as the leader for Medical Assistants and/or other staff as required; May not Supervise LPN's or RN's.
- Serves as effective mentor and educational resource to staff
- Participates in interviewing applicants, conducting employee discipline and attends required supervisor training per AHMG leadership requirements
- Responsible for PSQA/Care Gap Closure Scores
- Responsible for ensuring clinical employees' licensure and certification and office licensure is up to date
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:
- Minimum qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of medical office experience
- Graduate of a Medical Assistant program, BMO program, RT program, or other related field
- Must be currently certified and maintain certification by one of the following:
- American Association of Medical Assistants ("AAMA") for Certified Medical Assistants (CMA)
- American Medical Certification Association ("AMCA") for Clinical Medical Assistant Certification (CMAC)
- American Medical Technologists ("AMT") for Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
- National Association for Health Professionals ("NAHP") for Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA)
- National Center for Competency Testing ("NCCT") for National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)
- National Healthcareer Association (NHA) for Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA)
- Current, valid CPR certification is required
- Able to communicate in English
