Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated LPN/CMA to join our team. As an LPN/CMA at St. Anthony Health Care, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care in an outpatient clinic setting. Your responsibilities will include assisting physicians, administering medications, performing patient assessments, and maintaining accurate medical records.
Responsibilities:
Provide professional nursing care to patients in an outpatient clinic.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Assist with patient assessments, including vital signs and medical history.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and medications.
Adhere to clinic policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
Qualifications:
LPN or CMA Certification: Graduate of an accredited school for professional nursing or Certified Medical Assistant.
Experience: Previous experience in an outpatient clinic or similar healthcare setting preferred.
Licensure: Currently licensed as an LPN in the state of Florida.
Skills: Knowledge of medical office practices, procedures, and terminology. Familiarity with basic radiology examinations is a plus.
Communication: Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.
