National MEP firm with offices throughout the country has an immediate need for a 5+ year Mechanical HVAC Design Engineer in their Central NJ office. Excellent opportunity that will offer stability and long term growth potential.
Hybrid / Flexible schedule available.
Background / Experience:
- HVAC engineering and design, including load calculations, equipment selection and sizing, sizing and design of air and fluid distribution for projects such as hospitals, commercial spaces and institutions.
- Attend regular project meetings with project team.
- Coordinate with project management and other disciplines for scheduling and design.
- Review checklists comment sheets to ensure completeness.
- Review and use Design Guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering from accredited college
- 5+ years relevant experience in HVAC design engineering
- Proficiency in Revit and latest version of AutoCAD
- FE / EIT or P.E. license
- U.S. Citizenship or current Green Card required
