Bilfinger Industrial Services, Inc. known as a leading provider of complex, comprehensive industrial services is seeking a Mechanical Construction Manager at our Inwood, WV site location. This position requires a self-motivated individual to perform the detailed planning and scheduling of self-performed construction work, prepare bid packages for subcontract work, and ensure work is executed in line with safety, cost, schedule, and quality targets, as well as corporate and client expectations.
Responsibilities
- Review and input to engineering information packages for constructability and completeness.
- Integrate multiple engineering information packages and develop execution plans and other deliverables for the field, supervision and subcontracts.
- Ensure engineering information documents are organized and maintained.
- Develop labor and material estimates, material takeoffs and enter requisitions.
- Scheduling and coordination of crews and tracking of progress.
- Direct interface with Owner, Engineers, field supervision and subcontractors.
Requirements
- The candidate should have 5 to 10 years of industrial construction management and planning experience with installation of process & packing equipment and piping.
- Ideal candidate possesses a B.S. in Engineering or Construction Management.
- Must be able to manage multiple projects at once.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, time management and organizational skills are required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, MS Project, etc.
- Understanding of Lean Construction Principles preferred.
- OSHA 30 Training preferred.
