LONG TERM CONTRACT
The Material Handler will support logistics activities and logistics team members to achieve department goals; coordinate activities from start to completion including warehouse and dock activities. Communicate needs and changes to Logistics Lead.
Job Responsibilities:
- Generate customer shipments; stage and load outbound shipments with the use of delivery notes.
- Stage and load outbound shipments with the use of delivery notes.
- Unload, verify delivery against packing slip and stage inbound components for incoming quality inspection.
- Maintain inventory accuracy, cycle count support for inventory accuracy.
- Support production activities that require the use of a fork truck, load, and unload trucks.
- Generate internal storage and shipping labels.
- Pull and move material to production floor as required.
- Scan out components to production floor.
- Process shipping and receiving documents; enter receiving transactions into SAP.
- Maintain logistics documents files.
- Maintain customer containers information in Website.
- Support and maintain MAFACT standards.
- Maintain TS records applicable to the S/R area.
- All other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in a shipping and receiving and/or material handler role required.
- Licensed at fork truck operations preferred, but company will train.
- A high-level of organizational skill and ability is essential. Basic knowledge in the use of RF handheld scanner use.
- Good verbal and written communication skills are also necessary to interface with team members to clarify requirements.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Hi-lo license
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
