Onsite: This role is categorized as onsite. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Factory Zero on a full-time basis.
The Role:
The Material Flow Coordinator will be responsbile for ensuring all data and information is correct to create a flawless Material Flow. This position requires the ability work an Off Shift (2nd/3rd shift).
What You'll Do (Responsibilities):
  • Coordinates Material Flow activity
  • Supports achievement of BPD / Scorecard initiatives
  • Ensures correct inventories for Component/Press/Assembly material (inventory control process)
  • Interfaces with suppliers, LLP, and plant floor on material issues
  • Monitors pull systems through periodic audits
  • Responds to and resolves floor problems in the assigned floor area such as min/max conditions, standard pack discrepancies, packaging compliance coordination with the supplier, labeling, part misuse, and discrepancy reports
  • Interact with other departments to resolve inventory discrepancies
  • Resolves other supplier non-conformances
  • Confirms / Issues SPPS's for various issues and follows up on supplier responses
  • Manages Material Flow on source changes
  • Maintains all plant material inventory records and investigates errors, gains and losses
  • Investigates thoroughly all inventory record discrepancies using part histories to identify misuse, specification problems, unaccounted scrap or potential theft, carrier claims
  • Implements, monitors, and maintains GMS SLT elements
  • Audit of receiving process, follow-up and resolution of discrepancies
  • Capability to update Pull Systems (EPS,PPS, Viadat) and visuals to support engineering changes

Additional Job Description
Your Skills and Abilities (Required Qualifications):
  • 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • 1 year of GSC experience
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience (4 years)
  • Demonstrated planning and organizational abilities
  • High level of oral and written communications skills
  • High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others, motivate employees, and elicit work output
  • High level of analytical ability where problems are unusual and difficult
  • Ability to work 2nd or 3rd shift
  • Ability to work overtime as needed

What Can Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications):
  • 3+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • 3+ years of GSC experience
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Supply Chain/Logistics
  • Knowledge of scheduling and inventory control systems
  • Material/Logistics experience
