SUMMARY

The International Materials Trading Coordinator is responsible for working with suppliers of materials, freight companies and consumers to arrange timely pickup and delivery of goods.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Generates invoices and payables based on company processes and procedures
  • Responsible for accurately entering data into company software systems
  • Works closely with brokerage customers in accordance with PO terms and conditions regarding material pickup and delivery
  • Reviews purchase and sales contract entries submitted by commercial group for accuracy and sends finalized contracts to suppliers and consumers
  • Reviews suppliers documents and loading photos to ensure completeness and accuracy
  • Follows company policy when handling consumer satisfaction on non-conforming brokerage loads
  • Develops and creates reports as needed for internal and external customers utilizing various reporting tools
  • Schedules loads, assists in resolving issues (i.e. rejections/downgrades) and all other customer related concerns that pertain to delivering goods to the plant for end consumers
  • Partners with commercial group to develop and maintain a base understanding of materials being traded
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least three or more years of proven customer service-related experience
  • Experience working in fast-pace office environment with International/Global presence preferred
  • Proficient understanding of Microsoft Suite
  • ERP System experience preferred

 

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Ability to work under general supervision, exhibiting independent thinking skills and problem-solving initiative
  • Ability to perform in a diverse, fast-paced, detail-oriented atmosphere of changing priorities
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Demonstrates strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
  • Ability to research, collect and track data
  • Ability to work well under pressure and respond to employees and customers with respect and consideration
  • Ability to edit correspondence for spelling and grammar

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Routinely sits; uses hands to type
  • Stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl as needed
