POSITION OVERVIEW
Serve as the Group's focal point for all ancillary training policy, data consolidation, and 621 CRW-directed and locally developed computer database system management. Also, as required, serve as the Group's Subject Matter Expert (SME) for 621 CRW-directed and locally developed computer database systems.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities:
- Update data using 621 CRW-directed and locally developed computer database systems as
- Build, review, and update student/permanent party records, folders, and grade books per the applicable Air Force Instructions (AFI 10-202, etc.), associated MAJCOM Installation supplements, and locally developed guidance. The number of records will vary depending on unit manning/student
- Coordinate the schedule of classes and administer exams as
- Coordinate with scheduling and external agencies (SFS/CATM, CES/Emergency Management, etc.) to ensure members are scheduled for any training requirements needed to meet the CR's high state of mission readiness for contingency and Humanitarian Assistance/Disaster Relief (HA/DR) employment. The number of classes/exams will vary depending on unit manning/student throughput.
- Perform Command Job Qualification Standards (CJQS)/Task-Based Training (TBT) syllabi checks to address Squadron/Commander.
- Consolidate information for the Wing's annual JQS review panel. CJQS/syllabi checks are performed monthly.
- Prepare and execute periodic training/testing plans for approval and
- Coordinates off-site training conferences/seminar attendance.
- Manages 621 CRW-directed and locally developed computer database system employment and utilization across the Group.
- Provides existing Ancillary Training policy and guidance to squadron training
- Oversees Group Training documentation and tracking in, 621 CRW directed and locally developed computer database systems.
- Responsible for publishing and upkeep of any Group-specific Ancillary Training
- Assist in the development and execution of new curriculum and syllabi for ground
- Generate the reports/forms as required including: Monthly and quarterly inputs to OST Training as required, AF Form 2096, Classification/On-the-Job Training Action as needed, and Monthly and semi-annual NMR letter for members to be placed in NMR
- Assist squadrons with monthly Training Review Panel (TRP) briefings to the Squadron leadership to include training recommendations and status of training on unit members.
- Consolidate information and prepare briefing slides for the quarterly Group Training Review Panel (TRP).
- Generate and route training waivers as
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in as a military Training Manager
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Active Secret Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- USAF Training Manager experience
- Experience supporting the 621 and/or 821 CRG
