Job Title: Marketing Officer

Department: Marketing

Reports To: President/CEO

SUMMARY

Responsible for all aspects of the financial institution’s marketing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Chairs the Marketing Committee
• Develops short and long-term marketing and advertising strategies that will promote all services and products for the financial institution.
• Manages and develops the marketing budget for reaching the bank’s goals and objectives. Ensures the marketing goals are in line with the financial institution’s strategic goals.
• Manages all donation/sponsorship requests in accordance with bank’s established guidelines.
• Maintains literature, brochures, and other marketing materials that list current service charges for customers and the availability of literature for the general public.
• Maintains a social media presence.
• Reviews and oversees advertising copy and descriptive materials in compliance with advertising regulations.
• Serves as the public relations liaison for the bank.
• Plans, schedules and coordinates all special events for the Bank.
• Plans promotional marketing campaigns in line with strategic goals.
• Assists with the design, negotiation and placement of billboards, traditional media, radio, social media ads and e-mail blasts.

EDUCATIONAL and/or EXPERIENCE

This position requires the following minimal education and/or experience.

• A bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field and/or five (5) years’ experience in banking or related field.
• Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills.
• Good interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate with management, team members, clients and customers where applicable.
• Effective writing, speaking, presenting and active listening skills.
• Great organization, time management and prioritization skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
