Lamar Community College has an exciting opportunity for you to be our next Marketing Coordinator. We are looking for a dynamic, passionate, dedicated individual who will lead and implement LCC's strategic marketing plan.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Marketing Coordinator will work to present and communicate a consistent and dynamic image of Lamar Community College. The Marketing Coordinator will lead the development and manage the preparation and production of printed publications and digital marketing programs, including social media, website, email campaigns, and public relation coordination, to increase student enrollment and retention as a means to support the organization's growth, goals, and mission fulfillment.
Examples of Duties
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Design and implement marketing strategies and plans for both internal and external audiences
• Provide feedback to executive leaders and assist in all public relationship efforts
• Produce ideas for promotional events or activities and organize them efficiently
• Plan and execute campaigns for college recruitment and student events and organize them efficiently
• Work with and establish relationships with media outlets and marketing contractors
• Monitor progress and submit performance reports
• Responsible for producing valuable content for the company's websites and social media.

  • Associate degree in Communication, Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • Experience in two or more areas of responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in higher education
  • Demonstrated experience and success in developing and implementing marketing campaigns in traditional and innovative media environments
  • Excellent oral and written communication.

Supplemental Information
Salary Range: $37,000.00 - 39,000.00. The specific salary will be determined by the qualifications of the selected candidate, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information.
